ASTRIS «Golden Hive» ist eine Hommage an die architektonischen Meisterleistungen der Natur. Dieses Werk evoziert das Bild eines verborgenen Bienenstocks im Inneren eines schützenden Naturraums. Es schlägt die Brücke zwischen der rauen Haptik organischer Urformen und der feinen Eleganz des transluzenten Porzellans – ein Dialog zwischen Schutz und Offenbarung.
In illuminiertem Zustand verwandelt sich das Objekt in einen schwebenden Kokon. Das Licht durchdringt die bei 1280 °C transformierte Materie und lässt die inneren Strukturen plastisch hervortreten. Ein goldenes Leuchten lädt den Raum atmosphärisch auf, während jede Wölbung und jeder präzise Durchbruch von der Hingabe an das Material erzählen.

ASTRIS «Golden Hive» is a tribute to the architectural masterpieces found in nature. This work evokes the image of a hidden beehive cradled within a protective natural void. It bridges the gap between the raw haptics of organic forms and the delicate elegance of translucent porcelain—a dialogue between shelter and revelation.
When illuminated, the object transforms into a floating cocoon. Light permeates the matter, transformed at 1280°C, bringing the intricate surface structures to life in a three-dimensional play of brilliance. A golden radiance atmospherically charges the space, where every curve and every piercing tells of precise craftsmanship and a deep devotion to the medium.
