Table, Stool, Solitary – Tangible Art

My solitaries are artistic responses to the aesthetics of space. In these stool and table objects, glaze and glass merge into fluid color landscapes upon sculptural forms—haptic-colorific invitations that lead into worlds of personal memory and dissolve the boundary between artwork and functional object.
Permanence and moments of change are united within both material and form: Grounded by the element of porcelain, the colors eternalize the mysterious alchemy of the firing process, allowing the final work to capture the ever-changing interplay of light within the room.
